We at Creative Business Finance Limited are a small team of experienced professionals working across the UK from our offices in London and the North East, dedicated to finding the right type of funding to help you and your business or project.

We specialise in arranging funding for:

• business finance by creating bespoke packages of lending for your business, including factoring and invoice discounting arrangments, non status and self certification commercial mortgages, and plant and machinery refinance; and
• property and development finance using bridging loans, commercial mortgages, buy to let and portfolio finance, development finance, mezzanine funding, and joint ventures.

Our company is independent, with no ties to any lender; we are therefore able to explore the financing market on your behalf.

As independent brokers, we are members of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) and abide by its code of practice. 

We believe that we should always put our clients' interests first and so wherever possible we work mainly on a success fee only basis.

 

Our directors are (from left to right) Mark Blayney, Graeme Funnell and Stuart Hare.

Mark trained with PwC working in London, the South East and overseas. He has worked in a FTSE100 company, a UK clearing bank and as a 'turnaround' partner in a top 20 accountancy firm, before setting up his own brokerage and turnaround consultancy.

Mark writes and speaks extensively on finance and business issues and is the author of four books, and a guide to Factoring and Invoice Discounting which can be obtained free from this site, as well as many business articles. He also continues to be involved in industry and has a portfolio of interests as part owner/manager of a number of manufacturing and trading companies.

Graeme Funnell has 10 years experience working in finance brokerage and specialises in commercial mortgages, bridging finance and the buy to let sector.

Stuart is one of the UK's leading finance brokers. He was a founder member (and until recently a director of) the NACFB, a body he helped to form to combat fraud and poor practice in the industry.

Stuart has acted as an advisor to one of the big 4 accountancy firms on asset based finance, as well as working closely with a number of merchant banks and has also carried out projects as a property developer in his own right as well as acting as the landlord to a portfolio of buy to let properties.
